On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Symposium on Perspectives in Medical Biotechnology, to be organized in Krakow on 22 and 23rd May, 2015 we want to kindly invite you to attend this event.
The symposium is organized under the auspices of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences – the oldest Polish scientific corporation, established in 1873 and the Jagiellonian University, which with its 650 years of history is one of the oldest central European academia. The main organizer of the symposium is the Department of Medical Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology,JU. The Department, created as independent unit in 2005, in 2013 together with CNRS, France formed International Associated Laboratory (LIA – Laboratoire International Associé), a unique entity in Poland.
We expect that the symposium will gather about 200 participants and the lectures will be given by the eminent scientists from all over the world, working on stem cells, mechanisms of diseases, cell and gene therapy.
